Education
The significant growth in the number of horses in Sweden has increased demand for a well-educated, specialised workforce for the equine sector.
HNS has a major responsibility for education and courses within the equine sector, and co-ordinates these across all horse-related disciplines.
Education is carried out through the national equine centres at Flyinge, Strömsholm and Wången, with whom we work hand-in-hand. Courses exist at high school, college and at university level. Sweden is unique in offering one of the world’s only Hippology studies at university level. Our centres also offer a wide range of specific equine related courses.
